Since its creation, the RSE label has highlighted the contribution to sustainable development of around 230 companies in Luxembourg, employing more than 55,000 people.
This is undoubtedly the ideal opportunity for companies to enhance their ESG activities, benefit from one of the largest responsible companies’ networks in Europe and thus contribute to build a more sustainable future – by focusing on innovation, qualitative growth and stability.
According to LFF Secretary General Lynn Robbroeckx, “this labels the start of a process of continuous improvement. It provides a framework for new actions to further strengthen the different areas of social responsibility.”
Although LFF has always been committed to sustainable finance – since it plays a key role in the net-zero carbon transition and sustainable future – from now on, it will also pay particular attention to factors such as “the respect of human rights within financial services and good governance”.
For LFF CEO Nicolas Mackel, “obtaining the label supports the continued efforts by LFF over years to ensure we work in accordance with social and environmental values. It also gives renewed support to our aim of ensuring that Luxembourg becomes the engine of sustainable finance in Europe.”
