OffWorld, a space firm specializing in swarm robotic mining systems, established its Europe headquarters in Luxembourg. The former iSpace U.S. CEO Kyle Acierno was appointed Managing Director of OffWorld Europe.

Headquartered in Pasadena, California, since 2016 and already implemented in South Africa, OffWorld has now established its new office in Luxembourg. This global pioneer in AI-powered industrial swarm robotic mining systems on Earth is actually seeking to expand its solutions in Space.

For this reason, OffWorld Europe will first concentrate on a multi-year program consisting in both developing and deploying modules for the extraction and storage of oxygen and hydrogen from volatiles and water deposits on lunar surface. This will also encompass mating modules to OffWorld’s robotic technologies for cohesive lunar deployment.

“I’m proud to welcome Kyle as the Managing Director at our newly established OffWorld Europe division to lead and build an incredible team of experts. He is very well-seasoned in the space sector, and I am certain his talent and expertise will propel our mission of advancing the boundaries of space exploration forward” – Jim Karavala, CEO & Co-Founder (OffWorld)

The former iSpace U.S. CEO Kyle Acierno was appointed as Managing Director of this new office. He sits on the board of World Space Week, the IAF Industry Relations Committee, and has served as the Chair of the Technical Committee of the Hague Space Resources Working Group. He commented : “I am honored to take on the role of Managing Director of OffWorld Europe and to work alongside an incredible team of experts dedicated to pushing the boundaries of exploration on Earth and in Space”.

OffWorld Europe is now looking forward to growing its team in Luxembourg, to “be a part of something truly remarkable”. To know more about OffWorld and open positions there, visit their website.
