Prodware acquires Westpole Belux, to reinforce its presence in Europe

Prodware, a leading Digital Transformation enabler in Europe, recently announced the acquisition of Westpole Belux, in order to further expand and reinforce its presence in Europe.

Westpole Belux has more than 40 years of expertise in the Information Technology industry, notably in External Service Provider, Sales Process Management, Cloud Computing, and Cybersecurity solutions. 

With a presence in 4 european countries (Belgium, France, Italy, and Luxembourg), the tech company manages for instance the strategic IT systems of government institutions in Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, and of the European Union.

Employing around 320 employees and generating a €40-million revenue, Prodware’s decision to acquire Westpole Belux aligns with its growth strategy being to: 

  • bolster the geographic footprint and to open up new markets – notably in Italy
  • strengthen the product/service portfolio – notably in the cloud/security/compliance sectors, which Westpole Belux has expertise in 
  • allow to tap into new markets such as the Public Sector and Banking
