RHEA Group, a European space and cybersecurity system engineering leader, confirms its commitment to operational security and to information and data security corporate compliance by appointing one of its senior executive team members to the function of Global Chief Security Information Officer (GCISO).
In the last 5 years, RHEA Group has experienced double-digit yearly growth, leading to a growing base of longstanding institutional and commercial partners drawing from its enlarged portfolio of end-to-end solutions and services. The GCISO executive function further formalizes and reinforces the security discipline that has been at the core of the company’s strategy since its inception 30 years ago, consolidating RHEA Group’s position as a trusted business partner.
The role of Global Chief Information Security Officer is assumed, with immediate effect, by Pascal Rogiest, currently RHEA Group Chief Strategy Officer. Before joining RHEA in December 2020, Pascal Rogiest was CEO of LuxTrust, an EU-certified Trusted Third-Party company (“Tiers de Confiance”) and EU-Qualified Trust Services Provider based in Luxembourg. In this function, Pascal delivered and managed a unified digital identity system throughout Luxembourg on behalf of the local government and main financial stakeholders. Leveraging from this experience in the rigorous application of corporate and operational security and cybersecurity, Pascal will ensure application and compliance of RHEA’s current information security related processes, as the company keeps growing in the future as a trusted European partner in space and cybersecurity.
