The HR One Gala celebrates its 20th anniversary with an iconic new edition

Writer Laura Campan

On 21 March 2023, the HR One Gala will celebrate its 20th anniversary with an iconic new edition, at Casino 2000 (Mondorf-les-Bains). This will be a fantastic opportunity for the whole HR community to attend an inspiring keynote speech from Turkish author Metin Hara and a lively debate on the Quiet Quitting phenomenon throughout a tasty dinner supported by Talogy & adVeci, as well as enjoy an exclusive Luxembourg HR Awards’ ceremony and networking moments.

Minister of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Georges Engel, will also kick off this new edition – plenty of surprises and special guests.

Networking Cocktail

Upon arriving, the guests will enjoy small delicacies and cocktails to get in the mood and will be invited to taste a special cocktail created for the global all-in-one HR platform Deel before immortalizing this new edition with a 360 photo booth powered by Workday. The guests will then try their luck at the wheel of fortune from the local digital transformation partner Telindus

A wonderful opportunity to meet and greet in a friendly atmosphere before attending an inspiring keynote speech and a lively debate on trending topics.

Mastery over the mind

If our super-connected world may be an incredible place for creativity and innovation, it may also be the cause of unhappiness – and the inner journey to heal and grow is not (always) easy to take.

Graduated from Istanbul University, Turkish author Metin Hara regularly gives training and seminars at renowned universities and health institutions around the world, and will specifically join the HR One Gala this year to explain how love and the power of thought impact our health, both scientifically and practically.

We couldn’t think of a better topic to discuss, now that our mental health has been put through the mill.

The Quiet Quitting phenomenon

One unexpected gift that the lockdown gave us was time to reflect on how our professions were affecting our lives as a whole – and for many, it was rather negative.

This is where Quiet Quitting comes into play. Instead of working around the clock, quiet quitters would rather stay within the bounds of assigned duties and working hours to dedicate more time to their family and friends.

But the widespread benefits of such a phenomenon do not extend to employers. Seasoned professionals from Amazon Web Services (AWS), ING Luxembourg, Generali Employee Benefits and the European Investment Bank (EIB) will remind the importance of employee engagement and the steps to take to definitely turn the tide.

About the Luxembourg HR Awards

Since 2002, the HR One Gala has been gathering over 500+ HR decision-makers for a unique moment of sharing through inspiring keynotes, as well as an exclusive Luxembourg HR Awards’ ceremony.

This year, the HR One Gala will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a unique awards’ ceremony presented by Ibexa Partner Director Benelux Koen van Dillen, to further spur the efforts and dedication of the whole HR community in Luxembourg, and reward the best solutions on the market.
